Teaching
I offer classes in many subjects
*
Permaculture: From a 15 min. talk at a neighborhood potluck to team-teaching a 2week residential Permaculture Design Course, I have experience in a wide spectrum of education. I also participate as a guest speaker in many types of settings, including public schools.
*
*
Observation: In order to learn from nature, we have to first be able to look and listen again on a deep level. I offer awareness exercises, tips for reading the landscape, and suggestions, for developing your own natural history journal.
*
*
*
Wildcrafting: Take a walk through your neighborhood or local park and learn what you can eat, use for medicine, make into tools, etc. I am not an expert, but for people who are just beginning, I can confidently show the basics.

*
Urban Strategies: Lifestyles can be easily modified to be more sustainable, wherever we live. In addition, neighborhoods and public spaces are a real joy to transform.

Transforming Urban Sprawl: In order to have abundance in our neighborhoods, we need to learn how to design them. I teach revolutionary, village-based land-use planning in way that is approachable by all.
